Watch your dog play!

Here at Happy Trails Pet Spa, you can watch your dog have fun and play no matter where you may be.

Who's taking care of your pet?

Jim Bush

I am a former US Marine and a retired Engineer. My love for animals and desire to provide the best facility in the Rocky Mountain West has resulted in the construction of Happy Trails Pet Spa. I have loved, bred, shown, and trained dogs since my youth in central Iowa.

This facility is my dream. I want to provide the most comfortable, cleanest, safest, and most home like location for your pets boarding and grooming in Colorado.

Nealy Piazza

I am a kennel manager as well as the massage and acupressure therapist at Happy Tails. I am certified through the Rocky Mountain School of Animal Acupressure and Massage in both canine and equine Techniques, as well as Reiki.

I have been actively involved with horses and natural horsemanship for over 30 years and I was involved with the family dog kennel, Coblr Corgis, throughout grade school and high school.

My interest in animal wellness grew out of these experiences, and much of my college education revolved around animals physiology and nutrition.

Scott & Netessa Calahan

I have been working in pet kennels (not just for dogs), as well as washing and drying animals, from dogs and ferrets, since 2004. I have been a member of Happy Trails since 2009. I have a cardigan welsh corgi named Brock. I have a Bachelors in Psychology from the University of Northern Colorado.

Groomer, Kennel Attendant, Receptionist

Hi there! My name is Madeline and I am one of the Groomers here at Happy Trails. I got my certification in Jonesboro, Louisiana in 2015 and I’ve been grooming ever since! I’ve been working here since February 2016 and it’s been one of the best and most fulfilling experiences so far.

My love for dogs is overflowing and there’s no better way I could think of spending my time! When I'm not in the groom room, you can find me working the front desk. Always feel free to ask me about your pups and how much I love them, but be careful… I could go on for a long while.

Kennel Attendant

My name is Casey, I am a Junior at the University of Northern Colorado. I am studying to be a wildlife biologist. I love animals and the outdoors. My favorite hobbies include running and hiking.

Kennel Attendant, Receptionist

Hi, my name is Kiara. I am one of the Kennel Attendants here at Happy trails. My love for dogs is so unexplainable and I love spending every day with all of the dogs we have here. I’m studying to become a esthetician at the White Magnolia in Fort Collins. When I’m not at work, I love being outside enjoying the beautiful state of Colorado.

Kennel Attendant, Receptionist, Bather

Hi! I’m Kaylynn. I’m a native to this beautiful state. I like camping, hiking, and adventuring in my free time. I hope to move to the mountains someday. I have such a strong love for dogs and Happy Trails is the perfect place for me. I try to treat the dogs as if they were my own.

Kennel Attendant

My name is Andy. I have worked at Happy Trails since 2014, so you could say I’m pretty familiar with all the regular dogs here. I have a beautiful lab mix named Cassiopeia, along with 3 other large dogs in the household.

Kennel Attendant

Hi, my name is Kendra. I was born in Oklahoma but moved here in 2010. I am studying psychology at Colorado State University. My favorite type of dog is a Bernese Mountain Dog but in all reality I love all dogs.

Happy Trails is a perfect part-time job for me, it’s a big stress reliever after being at school all day.

Kennel Attendant

My name is Ashley. I am currently a senior at Mountain View High School. In the fall of 2018, I plan on attending Montana State University. I love spending my free time reading and playing with my energetic lab, Macy. I love working here with all the dogs, and Macy enjoys coming here too!

Joel Jensen

Kennel Attendant

I am a retired veterinarian from North Carolina. I practiced small animal medicine for over 40 years then moved to Colorado to be with family.

I missed the interactions I had with the dogs and cats, so I came to Happy Trails to get my daily ‘doggie fix’.
